Blythecon Los Angeles will be held on September 30, 2018 at the Reef, conveniently located by the 10 and 110 freeways, and the Grand/LATTC blue line station. See www.the-reef.com for more information about the venue.

Who does the BCLA team consist of and what are their positions?

The Los Angeles team consists of:
Angel Lee who is in charge of applications and vendor relations.
Lesser Tralfamadorian aka Fiddy who is responsible for administration.
Irene Garcia who is in charge of all the wonderful art work.
Joey Gomez who is in charge of donations.

I missed the application/I wasn’t selected the first time. Can I be on a vendor second chance list?

Of course! Vendor plans may change, and a vendor space may become available. If you would like to be on the wait list, please send an email to bclavendors@gmail.com to let us know you are interested.



Will BCLA staff be providing lunch?

We will have various food trucks visiting right outside the lounge area of the building. There is also an indoor coffee stand with baked goods, coffee, water and other items of that nature.



What is the price of a regular admission ticket?

$75.00 usd



What is the fee for a vendor table?

$45.00



What is the price of a vendor assistant ticket?

The price for the assistant ticket is $45.00 usd. This however does not include a goodie bag or raffle tickets.



Will there be a special discounted price for children?

Unfortunately not, due to limited space general admission tickets must be purchased at regular price.



When is BlytheCon?

BCLA is taking place September 30th 2018.



What are BCLA hours?

Usually Convention hours are between 10am-6pm.



Will there be parking?

There is a giant lot right in front of the venue and tons of street parking.



When do tickets go on sale?

January 6, 2018



Is there a host hotel?

We were able to secure a block of rooms at The Grafton Hotel on Sunset. The rate is 225 per night (plus tax), which is a fantastic rate when you look around within that area. Unfortunately SPACES ARE LIMITED, the group rate is on a first come, first served basis. The hotel is located right on Sunset Blvd. The Grafton is a very beautiful hotel within a great shopping area, central to a lot of stuff. Please check out the link below to book your rooms. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking, but it will be charged 45 days prior to the reservation. Should you want to cancel your reservation, you must do so before the 45 days which falls on August 17th 2018 (no exceptions).

Should I take public transportation or rent a car?

Honestly, it depends on what your plans are while you’re in Los Angeles. If you plan on doing some sightseeing, I recommend renting a car but there are other options available, like Uber, Lyft, taxis, and the Metro.
